Need a Computer?
So you're looking for a computer!
If you are a student between the ages of 6 and 18, the first thing that needs to happen is that you have to get a parent, guardian or caseworker to fill out an application on your behalf. We also need a signed "Parental Release" form (that we will provide at pick-up). This lets us know that your parent, guardian or caseworker is agreeing to supervise your use of the computer. Parents/guardians, please follow the same instructions.
To complete the online form, you need to follow a 2-step process:
- Register with our website (tab on the left). You MUST have a valid email address. Very soon (within 5 minutes), you will receive a confirming email from our system. Once you have validated your email address, go on to the next step ...
- Once you login with your validated login and password, you will be directed to our online application form.
We need to follow this 2-step process as we experience 100 times more spam than we do real kids who need help.
We require an adult (parent/guardian) to sign a "Parental release" at the time of the computer pick-up - we will have that paperwork there for you.
If you are a community, school or social centre that serves students, we can also help you. We are pleased to work with any organization that removes the barriers to our students having ready and safe access to a computer. Please complete the application form and let us know how we can help.
We do not need proof of family income, simply a declaration that you meet our requirements.
