Founders

Andy Walker

Andy Walker is one of the top technology journalists in North America. Andy became involved in technology while working at the Edmonton Journal newspaper in 1995. His fun and friendly tech help column "Cyberwalker" became syndicated across the Southam newspaper chain across Canada (now owned by CanWest Global). Andy launched Canada.com in 1995, MSN.ca news in 1997 and Cyberwalker.com in 1998.

Since then Andy has been published in hundreds of publications around the world. He was the co-host of the internationally syndicated TV show "Call for Help" and has demystified technology on hundreds of broadcasts. Andy's recent endeavors include resident tech help expert on CP24's HomePage, GM of the file download website Tucows.com and technology video tutorial site Butterscotch.com, and author of four books including "Windows Vista Help Desk." Andy is also a technology advisor to David Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, and has been an advisor to the Best Buy Foundation for Kids. He sits on the Little Geeks board.

Lisa Shishis

Lisa Shishis is a consultant at the Dorothy Ley Hospice. She is a former community nurse with Casey House, Canada's foremost AIDS hospice. Since 1999 she has worked as a Registered Nurse in Ontario. In her community nursing practice, Lisa has become very familiar with the families that the Little Geeks Foundation serrves and she has extensive project management and leadership experience. Lisa is also a former local union president with OPSEU.

She is the mother of three children: Griffin, a little geek himself, Maia, a pre-little geek, and a toddler named Zoe. Lisa speaks frequently to health care professionals and is a recognized leader and speaker on social issues. Lisa is also the Executive Director of the Little Geeks Foundation.
